Born and raised in Los Angeles, Melissa's upbringing was steeped in the world of film, music, and all forms of art from an early age. This website showcases her most recent writing, including published work. She recently published her first book, The Grim Reaper Gave Me a Sense of Humor, an exploration of the complexities of grief.

Melissa has a BA in film studies from Chapman University’s renowned Dodge College of Film & Media Arts, and is looking for new opportunities in the entertainment industry to expand her knowledge.
